# Staking & Burning

**⚠️ Always ensure that you’re on the right domains ⚠️**\ \- pine.loans\ \- app.pine.loans *We advise to bookmark the URLs to prevent going into possible phishing websites that are using similar names* 📗 👉 Head over to and select “Launch App”

👉 Head over to “$PINE"

Make sure you're connected to the Polygon network before staking or burning your $PINE tokens. Polygon was selected so you can enjoy low-fee transactions 💚 👉 In order to start **staking**, proceed to the Stake/Burn section and select the "Stake" button

👀 You will be presented with a pop-up where you can select the amount you wish to Stake. Simply select the amount you want to stake and select "Approve"

**🦊** Due to a new MetaMask update, users are now asked to input their Spending Cap. In order to guarantee that staking and burning will always function, be sure to select the "Use default" option as seen here:

**🦊 Approve the transaction when prompted**

👉 We can continue to officially start staking. Select the Stake button and watch the magic unfold!

The longer you stake $PINE, the more your rewards will increase exponentially! 😎 🔥 In order to start **burning** we can follow the same process, except this time we will select the "Burn $PINE" button under the Stake/Burn section:
